"Mama Nikki" has been caring for cats and kittens all her life, and, believe us, she knows what she is doing! Sometimes she knows us better than we know ourselves! Someone told us that people have called her a "cat comforter." She was also teased when she was a child about being "cat crazy"...but we see nothing wrong in being crazy about cats. We feel very comfortable and loved with "Mama Nikki" and we can tell that she feels the same with us. There is a very distinct "connection" between her and cats that has existed all her life. We know we are precious to her in ways that words cannot describe...and she is certainly precious to us, as well. It's a love borne of God's own heart! Cats are a mission of love for her in this life. We are aware that we are not on the same plateau as beloved persons in her life, especially her children and husband, but we do know without a doubt that cats are part of who God created Nikki to be.

Our ancestors roamed around Russia for hundreds of years, surviving the harsh cold climate of Siberia as Mother Nature provided us with lush triple-layered coats and furry paws. Our relationship with the wilderness of Russia's forests and plains did not create in us an unfriendly nature, as we are one of the world's most sociable, loving and devoted cats. We are loyal to our human families, craving their attention and affection. Our superior intelligence allows us the ability to learn tricks and to be easily trained. We strive to please our special persons, who enjoy our playful antics, including our delight in climbing up high and looking down at our people. We love their expressions! Unlike most other cats, we do come when we are called...and we can learn our names quite readily if our people use them.
